Utah Jazz at Los Angeles Clippers, 10 pm Eastern
The Pick: Utah +1 (-110), bet $11 to win $10
These are two teams needing to right downward slides. Los Angeles has listed Paul George as questionable for tonight’s game, but even if he does return against the Jazz, it’s his first game in months. The Clippers will truly be dangerous if and when Kawhi Leonard and George are back on the court, but that won’t be for a while. Los Angeles has lost five in a row, and have failed to cover in all five of those games. The Jazz are only one half-game ahead of Denver in the Western Conference Playoff race, and should they fall behind the Nuggets, they would have to play Golden State in the first round. They don’t want that. They’ll give it their all tonight, and beat a Los Angeles team laying in wait to get to the playoffs at full strength.
