Los Angeles Lakers at New Orleans Pelicans, 7 pm Eastern
The Pick: New Orleans -150, bet $15 to win $10
Laker LeBron James is listed as questionable with knee soreness tonight, so I’m banking on New Orleans being able to take care of business at home. The Pelicans are only one game ahead of the San Antonio Spurs for the final play-in spot in the Western Conference, while Los Angeles has no real chance of catching the Clippers (four games ahead). Both teams have struggled recently, but the Pelicans have gone 4-1 against the spread in their last five games. They lost a tough one last night to those Spurs so I think they’ll be up to atone tonight. I’m not asking them to cover the three points, just to win outright.
