Sacramento Kings at Dallas Mavericks, 5 pm Eastern

Dallas is riding high, having won eight of their last ten games, including a big win over the Golden State Warriors. They’re 21-11 at home and 28-8 as a favorite this season. They’re only 1.5 games out of home-court advantage for the first round of the playoffs, and they’re rapidly becoming a team no one wants to play. Sacramento is playing out the string. Luka Doncic is listed as questionable with a toe injury, but I suspect he’ll play and continue his great play - he’s scored over 40 points in six straight games. The Mavericks are rolling, and it continues tonight.
San Antonio Spurs at Charlotte Hornets, 7 pm Eastern
The Pick: Charlotte -3.5 (-110), bet $22 to win $20; Charlotte -154, bet $25 to win $16.23
San Antonio returned home on Thursday after a long, long road trip, played one game, and now go back on the road to face a Charlotte team that scores more than any other NBA team, averaging 114.1 points per game. The Hornets are scratching and clawing to remain in the Eastern Conference playoff picture - right now they’re hanging (by their stinger?) to the final play-in spot. They cover 55.2% of the time at home, and they need this game, a winnable one before two games against contenders Brooklyn and Boston. They get it done tonight.
