Memphis Grizzlies at Charlotte Hornets, 7 pm Eastern

The Pick: Memphis -7 (-112), bet $16.80 to win $15

I’m gonna continue to ride Memphis. Charlotte is playing at home, but they’ve lost five in a row at home, and they played last night. The Grizzlies play as hard as any team in the NBA, and they’re playing a team on the second night of a back-to-back. Memphis is a very good 19-9 on the road and 8-2 in their last ten games. The Grizzlies are on another level right now, and until they show that there will be nights where they don’t put forth 100%, it makes sense to trust them.

Cleveland Cavaliers at Philadelphia 76ers, 7:30 pm

The Pick: Cleveland +4 (-109), bet $16.30 to win $15

Both teams played last night, but even though Cleveland didn’t get the cover, they really showed some heart. The Cavaliers came back from down eight points going into the fourth quarter to win by seven. They play hard, don’t give up, and are gaining confidence with each and every game. New addition Caris LeVert scored 22 points for the Cavs, showing he’s going to fit in nicely on a team hoping to make a dent. Tonight’s game against Philadelphia is another chance for Cleveland to show the NBA that they’re for real. New Sixer James Harden is not expected to play, so Cleveland can take advantage of this transitional period. Tonight’s a premier matchup, and both teams will be amped. I expect a close game.

Denver Nuggets at Toronto Raptors, 7:30 pm Eastern

The Pick: Toronto -155, bet $23.08 to win $15

Last night, Denver allowed Boston to come back from a fourth-quarter deficit to lose a tough one, 108-102. Now they have to face a tough Toronto team in the second game of a road back-to-back. It’s a lot to ask. The Raptors are 20-7 as a favorite this season, 15-6 at home, and 9-5 as a favorite with more rest. The Nuggets are 2-7 in games on days immediately following a game, losing by an average of 7.4 points. I’m going to pay a bit extra to get just a straight Raptor win, though.

Oklahoma City Thunder at Chicago Bulls, 8 pm Eastern

The Pick: Chicago -11.5 (-110), bet $16.50 to win $15

Once again, I’m going against a team playing road back-to-back games. Oklahoma City has been a solid team against the spread this year but is only 4-4 ATS with no days rest. Chicago is second in the NBA ATS as a home favorite, at 15-6 with an average +/- of 0.7 points. The Bulls only beat the Thunder by a point on January 24, 111-110, so I think they’ll wanna go hard tonight to leave no doubt. Oklahoma City gets to enjoy the city of Chicago tonight and then New York on Monday; I’m not certain they’ll be focused as we approach the All-Star Break. The Bulls cruise.

Orlando Magic at Phoenix Suns, 9 pm Eastern

The Pick: Phoenix -16 (-110), bet $16.50 to win $15

Another pick against another road team on a back-to-back. Similar to Oklahoma City, this pick has the luxury of going against a terrible team playing a contender for the NBA Finals. The Magic are 5-7 against the spread with no rest and just lost to Utah. Phoenix is the best team in the league. Both teams are looking to the break, but with different purposes. The Suns want to go into the break strong; the Magic are excited to play some golf.

The Pick: Teaser Chicago -5.5 w/Phoenix -10 (-125), bet $25 to win $20
