Player Prop Parlay: Mason Plumlee under 5.5 points w/4+ rebounds, +157, bet $5 to win $7.88

It’s been a while since we visited the “Plumlee Well,” huh? Mason’s Charlotte Hornets are hosting the Milwaukee Bucks tonight, which means Plumlee will be spending a fair amount of time trying to contain Giannis Antetokounmpo. I’m predicting this will affect his offensive game, as Giannis is a beast defensively and the Hornets will be even more inclined to use their guards to score. Pairing the under on points with asking Plumlee to grab four rebounds gives us value, so we’ll root for him to only do dirty work tonight…

San Antonio Spurs at New York Knicks, 7:30 pm Eastern

The Pick: New York -240, bet $36 to win $15; New York -6 (-110), bet $11 to win $10

San Antonio took Brooklyn to overtime yesterday before losing 121-119, then spent the night in New York City. Tonight they’re playing the second game of a road back-to-back against the Knicks, who are 15-9 as a favorite and coming off getting smoked by Boston two nights ago. I like the Knicks to try to redeem themselves tonight, and I like the Spurs to be tired playing their seventh road game in eleven days.

Philadelphia 76ers at Houston Rockets, 8 pm Eastern

The Pick: Teaser New York -0.5 w/Philadelphia -5 (-110), bet $11 to win $10

Philadelphia is scrapping for playoff seeding already, only one game ahead of Cleveland for the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference. If the postseason started today, the Sixers would be playing Milwaukee and looking at a probable first-round exit. They can’t afford to lose games like tonight. I’ll tease them down with the Knicks because they’re playing Houston on the road, but the Rockets are 1-10 in their last eleven games against the spread.

Brooklyn Nets at Portland Trail Blazers, 10 pm Eastern

The Pick: Portland +9.5 (-105), bet $10.50 to win $10

After staving off those San Antonio Spurs in overtime, Brooklyn flies across the country to face Portland, making up a game that was postponed on Dec. 23. The Trail Blazers are just getting a lot of points here. The Nets haven’t covered the spread in six games, and although Kyrie Irving is listed as probable, this is a game they’ll just be trying to get through. Portland, though a disappointment so far this year, is still 13-11 at home (11-13 against the spread) and playing teams tough.
