The Pick: Charlotte -255, bet $15 to win $5.88; Charlotte -6 (-110), bet $5 to win $4.55

Once again, the primary factor is COVID and injuries. Houston has four players who will probably be out due to protocols/quarantine, not to mention being without John Wall (though they’ve been without him all season). The Rockets are 1-5 against the spread in their last six, and it’s not too early to think they might be already subtly tanking for a high draft pick in the spring. Charlotte plays well at home (8-4) and as a favorite (5-2), are 8-3 against the spread in their last 11, and the only major contributor they’re missing due to COVID is Miles Bridges.
