And here I am, turning right around and stabbing him in the back by taking the Wizards. Why, oh why am I being so capricious? Because the spread is +7 and not +6.5, that’s why. Both the Heat and the Wizards played last night, and the Wizards are on a road back-to-back. But Washington and Miami are both currently in the Eastern Conference elite, and I think tonight will be a hard-fought contest (so take the points). The Wizards aren’t afraid of the Heat; they’re 5-1 against the spread in their last six at Miami. They’re also 5-3 as an underdog this season. The Wizards are for real, and tonight should be tight (so take the points).
