Tuesday picks
The Celtics are missing two starting guards and have been on the road for more than a week. The Jazz have been playing great and are home. I like the Jazz to score over 112..5.
It's been awhile since I've gone with Jerami Grant, but he should be able to put up above average numbers against a defensively-challenged Nets team without Kevin Durant.
The Pelicans are on a three -game win-streak and the Rockets have been losing thrust without Christian Wood. But John Wall and Eric Gordon rested last night so I expect them to be energized against the Pels.
In each of their last five games, neither the Knicks or Heat have scored less than 100 points. I'll take them Over 208.5.
In tonight's sucker bet, the Trail Blazers are giving 6.5 to a Magic team without Evan Fournier and Aaron Gordon. The Blazers are home after forever on the road. The Magic are starting a road trip. For tonight's longshot I'm going to parlay Portland and hedge with Nikola Vucevic, who should get as many shots as he wants. I hope the game stays close enough for him to play the 4th.
