Friday Fats's NBA Prop Picks look to LaMelo Ball, Cody Zeller, Nets vs Raptors, Kevin Durant

7-1 the past two days wasn't going to last forever. We'll take 2-2 and try to do better Friday.

Thursday picks

Cody Zeller is going up against Rudy Gobert but he's going to get his minutes and the Jazz have played a number of quarters recently without much intensity. At +150, he worth a play. Not like he hasn't doubled up before.

LaMelo Ball. (see above Cody Zeller). A 26.5 PRA from Ball is very makeable because he can get double-figures in any or all of the three categories.

Kevin Durant can score 28 in his sleep. Sleep well, Kevin.

The Raptors have only gone over 117.5 three times all season and two of those times were against the Kings. I know the Nets play no D, but the Raptors would still have to score over 29 per quarter to make the number and that's a risk I'm willing to take.

3-pointers: Rockets +3 Over Grizzlies -109 (returns $19.20) When I think the team is going to win, I'm always happy to get points. The Rockets won 115-103 and it looked at times like a bigger blowout.

Steals: Gary Trent Jr. (Trail Blazers) Over 22.5 points, rebounds, assists -125 (returns $18.00) With Lillard and McCollum out, I figured Trent would get some opportunities. He did, finishing with a line of 24-3-3 for a 30 PRA

2-pointers: Royce O'Neale (Jazz) Over 7.5 points -110 (returns $19.10) O'Neale had 2 lousy points in a 21-point Jazz win.

Free throws: Sixers -10 Over Trail Blazers -114 (returns $18.80) The Blazers were without Lillard, McCollum and Nurkic and the Sixers were without interest. They were horrible and the star-free Blazers crushed them 121-105.
