Fats Tuesday: Baller's NBA prop bets are on DeMarcus Cousins, RJ Barrett, Julius Randle and an Over

Wizards at ROCKETS, 8:05 pm EST, Knicks at JAZZ, 9:05 pm

2-2 last night and the tiniest of profits. Some of these teams remain impossible to figure from one night to the next.

Tuesday picks

The Clippers, winners of 7 straight, play the Hawks tonight in Atlanta. The Hawks have been playing better recently and L.A. will be without Kawhi Leonard, Paul George and Patrick Beverley. That's 93 minutes and 56 points poof. With no time to practice, I've got to give the Hawks the edge, except they may be without Clint Capela and Trae Young. The game is likely to go one of two ways: Subs go berserk and put up big numbers in a high-scoring shootout or Jimmy Carter shows up to build a house with all the bricks. If the Hawks starters play, it could be a blowout and no one plays the 4th quarter. I may watch, but I ain't bettin'.

Assuming Christian Wood doesn't play again tonight against the Wizards, I like DeMarcus Cousins to have another big game. My book didn't offer Cousins in a double-double, so I'm placing two separate wagers. If Wood plays, reconsider.

In the late game, I'm not sure what Knick team will show up but I'm fairly confident the Jazz will come to play. I'm still trying two Knick props and assume RJ Barrett rebounds after his least productive game of the season.

All wagers and returns based on $10. Please check game time lineups before wagering.

Monday Results

Winners:

2-pointers: Warriors over Timberwolves and Over 225.5 +138 (returns $23.80) When D'Angelo Russell scratched, I was worried the T'wolves would score enough to make the number, envisioning a Warriors win like 118-95. Wrong! The Dubs won 130-108, easily topping 225.5.

Steals: Bam Adebayo (Heat) Over 21.5 points -143 (returns $17.00) Adebayo scored 26. Teams can score on the Nets inside. Can they outscore them from outside?

Losers:

3-pointers: Pacers -2.5 Over Raptors and Under 218 +260 (returns $36.00) The Pacers covered easily but both teams scored too easily in a 129-114 Indy win.

Free throws: Kevin Durant (Nets) Over 27.5 points -114 (returns $18.80) Durant's home scoring streak of 30+ ends at 5. He finished with a measly 20.

$40 wagered (2-2), $40.80 returned.

Day 32: +$0.80

Total: -$175.75 (63-87 off 150 $10 wagers)
