NBA Wednesday: After a 4-0 night, Fats looks to keep rolling with Kyrie, KD, the Nets and the Celtics
Fats Tuesday - maybe that should become a thing.
I ran the table last night for the first time this season, sweating out every pick. These sports book guys don't pull these lines out of their asses. It's supposed to get the blood pumping.
Tonight I'm in on the Nets. After two straight losses and a game off nap for KD and Kyrie, I think Brooklyn will try to make a statement against the undefeated Hawks and Kyrie will want to show off for Trae Young. My other picks is Boston. Yes, they had enough game against the Pacers and Memphis had the night off, but Boston is playing well and Memphis is playing without Ja Morant. Unless Brad Stevens decides to give nap time to key starters, the Celts should roll.
Hawks at NETS 7:35 pm EST, Grizzlies at Celtics, 7:35 pm EST.
3-pointer: Kyrie Irving double-double +300 (returns $40.00)
2-pointer: Kevin Durant Over 5.5 rebounds +100 (returns $20.00)
Free throw: Celtics -4.5 Over Grizzlies -112 (returns $19.00)
Steal: Nets -6 Over Hawks -110 (returns $19.10)
3-pointer: Jayson Tatum (Celtics) double-double +205 (returns $30.20) 27 points, 11 boards and a Celtic W.
2-pointer: Russell Westbrook (Wizards) triple-double +175 (returns $27.50) The Wizards lost, again, but Russ went for 21, 15, 11 (and was +3) in an 8-point Wizard defeat.
Free throw: Elfrid Payton (Knicks) Over 24.5 (points, rebounds, assists) -117 (returns $18.60). Payton went 14, 8, 7 to finish with 29 PRA in a productive 35 minutes.
Steal: Clippers win and Under 228 +123 (returns $22.30). Clippers win 124-101 and happily no one padded stats in the final 30 seconds.
$40 wagered (4-0), $98.60 returned.
Day 6: +$58.60
Total: -$34.95 (14-18 off 32 $10 wagers)
