NBA Playoffs: Greg Frank likes the Clippers to rebound Tuesday night against Luka Doncic and the Mavericks

While Sunday was the Luka Doncic show in the NBA Bubble as Dallas rallied in the second half to even the series with the Clippers at two games apiece with an overtime victory in Game 4, we’re going right back to the well with a similar handicap we gave out earlier in the series. Our Game 3 write-up touted the strong bounce back ability the Clippers showed in the regular season and sure enough Los Angeles responded from a Game 2 loss with a 130-122 victory last Friday that was never in serious doubt. Kristaps Porzingis remains sidelined for the Mavericks and eventually Paul George has to wake up for the Clippers right? After a strong Game 1, George combined to go 10-for-47 from the field in the next three games with a total of just 34 points. I continue to believe the Clippers will find their way through this series and a little bit of adversity isn’t the end of the world for them. The Lakers have answered the bell in a big way after losing Game 1 to the Trail Blazers, and sooner or later the Clippers are going to produce a dominant result of their own. I’ll take my chances it’s tonight.
