Greg Frank says the Sixers have the edge over a depleted Pacers team tonight in Orlando. Like Indiana? Check out the pointsbet promo

Pacers vs. Sixers tips off at 7 pm EDT.

The Celtics missed covering last night by 2 points, so Greg is now 1-1.

Pacers (+6) @ Sixers (216.5)

Pick: Sixers -6

The Sixers were one team I was very interested in buying as the league restarts its season. Philly has altered its starting lineup sending Al Horford to the bench, moving Ben Simmons to the power forward spot and inserting Shake Milton at point guard. Much has been made about Philadelphia’s home-road splits, as the Sixers were one of the league’s best home teams and worst road teams before the season was suspended. Now they step into a neutral site environment without fans. I tend to view this as more of a positive than a negative for Philly. The Sixers were a popular pick to win the Eastern Conference in the preseason and with good reason as the high-end talent on their roster is undeniable. You would think that in the bubble environment and in a league like the NBA, the high-end talent would rise to the top right? That’s what we’re betting on here. As for the Pacers, their high-end talent is not healthy as Domantas Sabonis will not play tonight and may not return at all this season and Victor Oladipo is a game-time decision. The Sixers are the superior team, the new lineup should produce optimal results and they should be out to prove that they’re still a contender in the East. I’ll lay the points here.
