In case you missed it, Friday’s Day 2 of the NBA Re-Start resulted in all six games being Over, by roughly the following margins:
> 51 (ot)
> 70 (ot).
Needless to say, there is a whole lotta scorin’ going on.
Into this waltz enter the Sixers, who open up play against the Pacers Saturday night. And for what it is worth, it is a Pacers team that had played in five Overs in six games before this the NBA season grounded to a halt in March.
Oh yeah, did we mention the Sixers were riding a six-game Over streak of themselves when the hiatus hit? And that Ben Simmons had missed each of those six games?
So, makes sense we instill our own Kansas City Chiefs-style of NFL wagering and layer a bunch of totals. If only Patrick Mahomes were in Orlando to run the Sixers offense and deal some dimes to Joel Embiid . . .
The lowest Over for positive odds we found was 220.5 (+102) at DraftKings. From there on up, FanDuel had the higher odds each step of the way up to 241.5 (+920), which by the way, four games eclipsed on Friday.
As long as Philly and Indiana combine get to 221, all of out bets will be covered. Beyond that, everything else is gravy.
