The Sixers-Warriors’ Total was hovering around the 226-227 area . . . that is until Golden State’s Stephen Curry (illness) and Draymond Green (knee) were ruled out.
Now it is in the 222 area.
And that drop, my friends, is a gift.
Curry had been back for all of one game after an early-season hand injury and Green has been battling knee problems for a spell. If you ask us, their loss at this juncture should not mean five points.
Putting up (and allowing) points have not been the Sixers’ problem in the absence of the Ben Simmons, Joel Embiid and Josh Richardson. They have played Over in 11 of their last 16 games overall and all three contests on this California road trip.
So, pretend the O/U line has not moved at all and go for something in the original neighborhood. An Over 226.5 gets you a +133 at Parx, and you can get any number up to Over 232.5 (+220).
We will play it relatively safe.
Over 226.5 Points (+133) . . . $10 / $13.30
