The T-Wolves are bad on the tail-end of back-to-backs, so Greg Frank is Bull-ish on Chicago

0-2 Tuesday, 103-100-2 overall

Bulls (+3) @ Timberwolves (231.5)

Pick: Bulls +3

There was not much on today’s NBA rotation that jumped to me, the Bulls catching three on the highway was my favorite side tonight. Minnesota is a train wreck defensively as the Timberwolves are 20th in the Association in defensive efficiency and opponent effective field goal percentage and 24th in opponent field goal percentage. At 231.5, this total certainly suggests another high-scoring game. If it becomes a track meet, like the Timberwolves game in New Orleans did last night, with Minnesota on a back-to-back, Chicago is the only side we can look to. The Timberwolves are 2-5-1 against the number on the tail end of back-to-backs this season while the Bulls have covered three of their last four and pulled off an impressive comeback victory at home on Monday against Dallas as a seven-point underdog. This number should be closer to PK than the three points we’re getting so we’re going to take them.
