Earlier in February, Denver lost to overtime to Detroit on the road. These aren’t two rivals so I’m not necessarily calling this a revenge spot for the Nuggets, but make no mistake, the Pistons are bad, and the Nuggets have no business losing to them home or away. Looking back at the schedule, it was a bit of a sandwich spot for Denver having just won at Milwaukee and with a playoff rematch against Portland on deck. We’re guessing that loss in the Motor City from earlier this month will result in the Pistons having the full attention of the Nuggets this time around. That should result in a quick start for the home team and we’ll bet on Denver to cover the first quarter line as a result.
