NBA Saturday: Greg Frank picks Nets vs Bucks and expects Brooklyn to hang around with Giannis and Co.

0-1 Friday. 67-71-1 overall.

Bucks (-8.5) @ Nets (231.5)

Pick: Nets +8.5

Brooklyn has been playing right with a lot of likely playoff teams recently, it just happens to be struggling to play a full 48 minutes with them. The Nets had a four-point lead after three quarters on Wednesday in South Philadelphia but got throttled in the fourth quarter not only to lose, but failed to cover a hefty 7.5-point line against the Sixers. A day earlier against Utah, the Nets outscored the Jazz by three points in the second half, but were too far behind at halftime for their strong final 24 minutes to matter. Brooklyn did pick up a win last week against a team in a playoff spot, defeating Miami 117-113, however the game prior to the Miami win, the Nets lost to Oklahoma City at home in overtime. While there are not a lot of wins here for the Nets against these playoff teams, remember we bet numbers not teams. We’re betting the number as much as we are the Nets in this matchup against Milwaukee and they should be able to keep this one close as well.
