NBA Saturday: Greg Frank picks the Lakers vs Thunder -- can L.A. keep win streak going if Anthony Davis sits?

Tip is at 8 pm EST.

0-2 Friday, 64-66-1 overall.

Lakers (-1) @ Thunder (216)

Pick: Thunder +1

Unless the Lakers win by one point, someone’s streak is going to continue and their opponent’s streak is going end tonight in Oklahoma City. Los Angeles enters on an seven-game winning streak. The Thunder come in on an eight-game cover streak. With Anthony Davis likely out and the Lakers on the tail end of a back-to-back, the Thunder are the side we’re interested in. Steven Adams should be the best big man on the floor and in games against marquee opponents like this, we always expect young players to play a little better at home. That means Shai-Gilgeous Alexander and Dennis Schroder should produce the way they did on Thursday at home against Houston combining for 36 points on 15-for-26 shooting and going 3-for-7 from three-point land. The Thunder’s impressive first half continues at home on Saturday and they continue to be the best ATS team in the Association.
