We were spot on with our Miami Heat fade yesterday as the Heat lost by 18 points in DC against the Wizards off the big win against the Sixers on Saturday and with a big home game looming against Toronto on Thursday. The Sixers have another key game in the late afternoon in Indianapolis against the Pacers, another team that figures to be jockeying for homecourt advantage in the opening round of the playoffs during the next three months. Handicapping the NBA regular season is not as simple as taking the team with more talent, but when that team is off a disappointing loss like the 76ers are, it’s safe to assume they’ll bring a good effort today and that should be good enough to win.
