We learned our lesson fading the Sixers on Sunday at Wells Fargo Center. Philly remains one of the NBA’s best homecourt advantages and the Sixers are in a small revenge spot on Tuesday night. Last month Philadelphia traveled to the Mile-High City and let one slip away against the Nuggets, losing 100-97. That was a part of a stretch in November where the Sixers were hard to trust and playing more inconsistently than they are now. However, in the last couple weeks, Brett Brown’s team has looked more and more like the Eastern Conference power they were expected to be. Philadelphia comes having won eight out of its last ten games and three of four in December so far. The Sixers are also 12-0 straight-up at home in 2019-2020 so far. While there’s a bit of a disparity in the ATS record, as they are 7-5 ATS in South Philadelphia, we think the Sixers are the clear side to be on in tonight’s game against the Nuggets. They outplayed Denver for the majority of that game in Denver last month, come in playing well and the Nuggets are wrapping up an east coast road trip. Four is short enough to where if you like the 76ers to win, laying the points will probably get you a winner as well.
