NBA: Mims on both Games 2s - Trail Blazers v Warriors, Raptors v Bucks

Trail Blazers (+7.5) at Warriors (218)

There were line moves on both sides because the game opened at Golden State -8 and 217.5.

Warriors were impressive in Game 1 and Trail Blazers were inept on defense. Add in 21 turnovers and a subpar performance by Damian Lillard means you will lose by 22. Blazers should play better with more time to prepare. CJ McCollum gets 22 or more. Blazers shot 7-for-28 on threes so expect improvement. Dame Time is due, but not here. He does not get 30. Warriors are locked in defensively. I anticipate a closer game with them winning again by 10-12. Draymond Green gets a double-double with points and rebounds. Stephen Curry gets 30 and Klay Thompson gets 28. Total goes over 218.

Raptors (+6.5) at Bucks (215.5)

The line move was reflected with the total. The game opened at 215.

Bucks are a popular favorite with 59% of the action backing them according to Covers.com. Raptors played and control the entire game but collapsed at the end. Toronto was outscored by 32-17 in the 4th quarter. The starters played too long to be effective down the stretch. Bucks have so many weapons and they are hard to contain for four quarters. I expect more from them in Game 2. Kawhi Leonard gets his 30 but don’t expect that again from Kyle Lowry. Eric Bledsoe and Khris Middleton have good games with 15 or more points. Giannis Antetokounmpo gets 10+ rebounds. Bucks win by 10 and the games goes over.
