NBA: Frank picks Bulls to trample Sixers, Suns to rise on Knicks

Sixers @ Bulls, Knicks @ Suns

Sixers (-5) @ BULLS (228.5)
Pick: Bulls +5
In our handicap of last night’s Sixers-Magic game we mentioned that the Orlando game and tonight’s game in Chicago could be flat spots for Philadelphia. The Sixers took care of business on their home floor last night winning and covering. However, we’re still wary of Philly covering both games of a back-to-back with the Rockets on deck on Friday. The Sixers are 5-8 ATS as a road favorite this season and 3-6 ATS on the second leg of a back-to-back. We’re sticking with our assumption last night that one of these games will be closer than the line indicates.

Knicks (+4) @ SUNS (225)
Picks: Suns -4
The Phoenix Suns are playing well. Yes, you read that correctly. They’ve won three out of four and Phoenix’s most recent victory was against the team with the best record in the East as the Bucks lost in the desert 114-105 on Monday. Now we only have to lay four points to back the Suns on Wednesday at home against a Knicks team at the end of a west coast trip? We’ll gladly sign up for that. The Knicks look to be reverting to form after winning three of four at the end of February. While we’ve been almost as bad at picking Knicks games as they have at playing basketball this year, Suns -4 feels like good value in this one even though no one will be watching.
