NBA Saturday: Kawhi Returns, Gasol Debuts

Raptors-Knicks

RAPTORS (-12.5) at KNICKS (216), 7:30 p.m.
Pick: Raptors -12.5

As much as I hate laying double digits, I’m doing it here.

Kawhi Leonard is expected to return to the lineup for Toronto (40-16) and they’ll get Marc Gasol in the fold for the first time after trading for the big man during the week.

The Knicks (10-44) are on the latter end of a back-to-back and are 3-6 ATS in their nine second legs of a back-to-back so far this season.

There’s still two months before the playoffs, but Toronto looked like a team that could win the East this week with three straight double-digit victories including one in Philadelphia. We’re banking on this strong play continuing for the Raptors into the All-Star break. With Leonard likely due back and Gasol set to debut for Toronto, we have no reason to anticipate the putrid Knicks are the team that slows down the Raptors.
