The Sixers had a couple of days off since the conclusion of their west coast swing to end 2018 and open 2019. They return to the Wells Fargo Center this evening after a 3-2 road trip. Philly has been very good on its home floor this year sitting at 16-3 and 11-8 ATS in 19 games in the city of brotherly love. Dallas has struggled mightily on the road this season as it is an NBA worst 3-17 in away games and 9-11 ATS in those 20 contests. The Mavericks are also on the second leg of a back-to-back after getting blown out 114-93 in Boston on Friday night. Philadelphia may be without Jimmy Butler again tonight, as the swingman missed Wednesday’s game in Phoenix due to an illness, so that may create a buy low opportunity on the Sixers here. We don’t have much doubt that they will win this game, so we’ll take our chances that they do so by at least seven points.
