NBA Saturday: Nets at Bucks

Nets (+10.5) at Bucks (222), 5:05 p.m. (FS-WISC, YES)

Pick: Under 222

The Nets cooled off Friday night in Charlotte with a 13-point loss against the Hornets. However, Brooklyn made significant inroads on Charlotte after the Hornets got out to a 33-17 lead after 12 minutes. While the Hornets ended up salting things away and winning with ease, Brooklyn expended a lot of energy to make a game of it on the road. Now, the Nets travel to Milwaukee and play again in less than 24 hours. If they’re to cover here, it’ll be in a low-scoring game as well. This will be Milwaukee’s fourth of six consecutive games against opponents with a record of .500 or worse. That seems like a get in and get out healthy stretch on the schedule and the first three have all gone Under. The Bucks are probably the correct side here, but the under seems like a safer play with Brooklyn playing a back-to-back.
