Alexander Volkanovski Vs Diego Lopes

Method of Victory: Volanovski by Decision (+187)

This could turn out to be one of the toughest fights to call tonight! Lopes has been on an amazing five-fight winning streak in the competitive Featherweight division, but we haven’t yet seen him unleash his full potential. In his match against Ortega, Lopes started strong, securing an early takedown that helped him win the round. However, he took a more cautious approach afterwards, ultimately winning by unanimous decision.  He employed a similar strategy in his fight with Ige. While that approach has worked for him before, it might not be the best plan tonight against Volkanovski!

Volk clearly brings veteran experience to tonight’s match. The concerns about him aren’t centered around his skills but on how he will fare against the younger Lopes. Given Lopes's knockout power and grappling ability, Volk may be at risk of being overwhelmed if he's declining. However, that’s likely not the case. Volk's striking talent and skill in minimizing damage while applying pressure will be crucial. By keeping Lopes pinned against the cage and leveraging his ground game to evade submissions, he’ll have an excellent shot to win this bout.

It seems this matchup is set to go the full distance! There's a chance we haven’t seen Lopes' best performance just yet, and it could surprise us tonight. If that's the case, Volk might face a real challenge. However, I'm confident that it won’t drastically change the outcome. I expect Volk to really take charge of the fight, keeping close to neutralize Lopes' power advantage. All in all, I think this fight to go the distance, and I have a feeling that Volk will come out on top by decision!

Michael Chandler Vs Paddy Pimblett

Method of Victory: Pimblett by Submission (+240)

This is shaping up to be the fight of the night! Both fighters bring an incredibly entertaining energy to the octagon. Chandler has shown us his chaotic style, making him one of the most exciting and unpredictable names in the sport. Even though he’s getting a bit older, he's still a formidable challenge for Pimblett. Speaking of Pimblett, he's not someone to overlook! Facing Chandler will definitely be one of the toughest challenges of his career, but with Pimblett's power and skill, he's sure to keep things competitive!

The real argument between these two fighters is who will be able to sustain damage better. Chandler hasn’t been as resilient as he’s been, considering he’s 39 now. However, he’s still an extremely well-conditioned fighter who has stood toe-to-toe with some of the best fights in the world. His knockout power and elite wrestling skills will be critical against the number of younger Pimblett.

I really believe in Pimblett tonight! While Chandler might have the upper hand when it comes to striking, I think Pimblett's ground game strengths will shine through. Even though Chandler has solid submission defense- having only tapped out once against Dustin Poirier- I feel that Pimblett's size and strength on the ground will help him wear Chandler down. If he manages to keep the fight on the mat and inflict some damage over the rounds, I'm confident he'll get a chance to secure a submission. I’m definitely placing my bets on a win by submission!

Bryce Mitchell Vs Jean Silva

Method of Victory: Silva by KO, TKO, or DQ (+110) or Mitchell by Decision (+375)

This matchup is shaping up to be one of the most talked-about fights of the evening! While Mitchell may be considered the underdog, there's more to his story than just his past performance in the octagon. Despite making some, let’s say, not-so-wise comments on a podcast, it's important to look beyond the headlines. So, let's focus on the fight! Mitchell has a real opportunity to shine in this bout. He's going up against Jean Silva, a classic striker, which gives Mitchell's ground attacks and takedown strategies a chance to make an impact. Silva does boast impressive takedown defense, but if Mitchell can snag an early takedown, it could set the tone for the rest of the fight! On the other hand, Silva's incredible power and recent determination make him a truly formidable opponent for Mitchell. His knack for throwing absolute bombs could definitely catch Mitchell off guard. After all, we’ve seen Mitchell get laid out by Josh Emmett before, so with that memory lingering in his mind, Mitchell might feel a bit hesitant to face off against such a powerful striker like Silva. This could encourage him to lean more on his ground game to counter Silva's strengths.

With Bryce eager to bring the action to the mat and Silva aiming to keep things standing, we're in for an exciting showdown! Especially considering Mitchell’s last fight ended with an impressive elbow that took out Kron Gracie. If you're in the mood for a fun bet tonight, why not go with a Silva knockout? Placing your bet on Silva by KO, TOK, or DQ could be the way to go! But if you lean more towards value betting, Mitchell by decision might just offer the best odds tonight. All he’ll need are a few solid takedowns and some smart defense to clinch a win. Here’s hoping for an electrifying fight rather than a dull one.

Yair Rodriguez Vs Patricio Pitbull

Method of Victory: Yari Rodriguez by Decisions (+140)

Is it too late for Patricio Pitbull's move to the UCF? We’ll find out as the seasoned Bellator fighter steps into the UFC for the first time against Rodriguez! At 37, Pitbull brings an incredible 20-year fighting career to his UFC debut. With a remarkable legacy in Bellator, this matchup against Rodriguez, who has faced some challenges recently, promises to be quite exciting. Yair is coming into this bout after a TKO loss to Alex Volkanovski and a submission loss to Brian Ortega, making the stakes even higher!

It seems like the skid ends here! While Pitbull has truly impressed, tonight Rodriguez steps in with a significant advantage. At 32 years old, he’s at the peak of his fighting career, and with an impressive six-inch reach and height advantage, he's well-equipped to challenge Pitbull. Although Rodriguez usually isn’t recognized for his striking power or knockout ability, tonight might just be his moment to shine! However, Pitbull has shown fantastic resilience throughout his career; he has only lost by strikes once. This fight will probably go the distance, but I believe Rodriguez will secure the victory from the judges!

Nikita Krylov Vs Dominich Reyes

Method of Victory: Krylov by KO, TKO, or DQ (+275)

Well, when it comes to this fight, it's fair to say it probably won't go the distance! We’ve seen these fighters go to decision just a handful of times in their careers. Given the unpredictable nature of the light heavyweight division, it seems almost certain this fight will end in a submission or knockout.

Nikita Krylov is making his return to the octagon after a two-year break. With such a long absence, it’s a bit tricky to assess where he stands now, but being only 33 gives us hope that he’s still in his prime. On the other hand, Dominick Reyes is no pushover. He’ll undoubtedly be a tough opponent for Krylov, even though he's a few years older at 35. He faced a tough patch, losing four fights in a row where it seemed like he might be done, but he’s made a strong comeback with back-to-back wins against Dustin Jacoby and Anthony Smith. That said, some might argue that Jacoby and Smith weren't at their peak during those matchups. However, it’s shaping up to be a real battle, with Reyes’s striking skills facing off against one of the toughest chins in the game. I wouldn't be surprised to see someone end up taking a little nap on the mat! Trusting my instincts, I'm betting on Krylov as the last man standing. Despite his time away from the ring, his age and proven ability to absorb damage could give him the advantage he needs to pull through!
