Happy Saturday, sports betting friends! I hope the last couple of days treated you with lots of winners. Now that we have several weeks' worth of data to digest, I've decided to take a shot at some openers from time to time.

We won our 3 openers on Thursday, as the Phillies, Twins, and Blue Jays all came through for us to give us a nice boost heading into the weekend. It's always nice to sweep the board but please continue to practice sound money management at all times. Baseball is a long grind, and we must bet conservatively.

Check out our 3 MLB openers for Saturday, May 10th below. Let's cash these, baseball fans. As always, make sure to select listed pitchers at whichever sportsbook you're playing these at. Best of luck!

Best Bet: Rays (-130)

MIL at TB - 4:10 PM EDT

Rays starter Taj Bradley has had some command issues lately, but I still like him a heck of a lot more than Brewers starter Tobias Myers. Even with the control issues, Bradley still has a very low hard-hit rate (35.8%) and expected batting average allowed (.239).

Myers has a K-rate of just 14% and a walk rate of 12.3%, so the Rays should have lots of opportunities to do some damage at home where the ball should carry well. Tampa Bay struggled at the dish against Philadelphia, but that was because the Phils trotted out a bunch of lefties.

The Rays hit righties at a much better clip than they do southpaws. Tampa Bay is a respectable 11th in WRC+ against righties. By contrast, Milwaukee ranks just 20th against righties. Give me Taj and the Rays to get a home W!

Best Bet: Tigers (-101)

TEX at DET- 6:10 PM EDT

This price is way too cheap on the Motor City Kitties, especially at home with one of their stud pitchers on the hill. Jack Flaherty has dominated this Rangers roster, as he has a K-rate of 28% and an expected batting average allowed of just .225 against them.

A lot was made of Texas bringing on Bret Boone as hitting coach. I think it was a great move, but this offense still has a long way to go to be respectable. The Rangers rank an abysmal 27th in WRC+ against righties this season and 25th over the last 14 days.

Detroit has been crushing the ball all season long. They could have a hard time against Jacob deGrom, but I'll still take this Tigers offense that ranks 7th against righties and 3rd over the last 2 weeks.

Best Bet: Dodgers (-108) (FanDuel)

LAD at AZ - 8:10 PM EDT

I don't know what I'm missing with this line. My numbers aren't impeccable, but they make the Dodgers closer to a -165 favorite in this spot. Yes, I know that Dustin May has had some issues, but I still like his fastball and his sinker quite a bit.

A lot of folks will disagree with me, but I'm not that high on Corbin Burnes anymore. He's just not been as sharp as he was back in the Day with Milwaukee. His walk rate of 12.1% tells me that he's struggling to find the zone with his new team.

Lastly, I like the Dodgers bullpen quite a bit more than the D'Backs. LA relivers rank 2nd in K minus BB rate while 'Zona ranks only 13th. It's also worth noting that the Boys in Blue rank 2nd in WRC+ against righties and they lead baseball in that stat over the last 14 days. Give me the Dodgers are this very cheap price.
