Max Meyer takes on a struggling White Sox lineup on Friday night.

Happy Friday, fellow sports investors! Thursday was fantastic for us on the MLB side of things. We went 6-0 to run our record to 62-55 on the young season for a deficit of 3.55 units. As my buddy Adam Hutchison always says, "It's a pretty sweep feeling!"

The big night was just what the doctor ordered to get this season back on track. The Phillies won over the Rays in extras to add a little extra drama to our night. Chris Bassitt and the Blue Jays finished off the perfect night with wins over the Angels.

The K props have done well this season at 41-29 (+6.31), but everything else has brought down our record. Let's build on yesterday's performance with 3 more strikeout props for Friday, May 9. Best of luck, my friends!

Gavin Williams Under 5.5 Ks (+102) (FanDuel)

PHI at CLE - 7:10 PM EDT

I like Gavin Williams, and I think he has the potential to be a bona fide ace for the Guardians. That being said, he draws a tough matchup against a very contact-heavy Phillies lineup tonight. Philadelphia has 7 hitters that strike out just 20% of the time or less.

Williams gets good heat on his fastball, as he runs it up to 97 mph regularly, and he throws it 53% of the time. The problem is this Phils squad hits the fastball incredibly well, as they rank 2nd against it this season.

Williams has a nice K-rate on the season, but most sportsbooks are calling for him to only work 5 innings tonight at home. His outs line is 15.5 but juiced to the Under. I'll take this plus money Under all day long.

Max Meyer Over 5.5 Ks (-115) (HardRock)

MIA at CWS - 7:40 PM EDT

Meyer isn't getting a lot of hype because he pitches for the Marlins, but this kid has some dynamic stuff. The young righty has a nasty assortment of breaking pitches (sinker, curve, slider), and that's a big reason why his K-rate ranks in the 81st percentile. He should carve up this pitiful White Sox lineup easily tonight on the road.

Just how bad have the Pale Hose been at the plate? They have the 6th-highest K-rate in baseball against righties, and they have 4 hitters who strike out more than 23% of the time. That should mean plenty of Ks for Mr. Meyer.

Hard Rock recently limited me, but I was able to get down a small amount at this -115 number. However, I like the play so much that I'd gladly play it up to -145 or so. Let's get this Over!

Will Warren Under 4.5 Ks (-108) (FanDuel)

NYY at ATH - 10:05 PM EDT

This one feels like a bit of a gamble because we don't have a very large sample size on Mr. Warren. He has a nice K-rate, but I haven't been all that impressed with his stuff so far this season. He only hits about 93 mph with his fastball, which is about 1.5 mph slower than the MLB average.

We can't call this Athletics team the Triple-A's anymore! This team has shown some serious fight, as they're 20-18 so far this season. I love how well this squad puts the ball in play, which is why I'm playing this Under.

The A's have the 4th-lowest K-rate in baseball against righties. Five guys in their lineup fan less than 16% of the time. Warren will have a hard time finding 5 Ks tonight on the road. Let's bet another sweaty Under!
