As for tonight’s picks, we’ve got everything from plus-money longballs to sneaky hit props rooted in consistency — even if it’s not the biggest sample size just yet. With a full slate of games and a handful of red-hot bats, it’s a great night to lock in some props for your bet slip.
So, we’re breaking down 5 of the best player prop bets for Tuesday night’s action.
Player Prop Odds: +500
This number is just too good to pass up right now and that’s because Suárez is on fire.
He’s homered in 3 of his last 4 games, has 4 total bombs already, and is slugging like he’s Barry Bonds in a contract year.
Through his first 14 at-bats alone, he’s put up 7 RBIs, a .286 AVG, and a ludicrous 1.555 OPS. He’s also got a favorable park factor boost heading into Yankee Stadium. Does it get any better than this?
While the Yankees may throw some decent pitching at him with Will Warren, Suárez has shown he’s unfazed early in the season — especially against RHP. He’s hitting both righties and lefties and with the wind expected to be blowing out slightly in the Bronx, this is a spot to take the big swing—literally.
At +500, this is a no-brainer flyer with a big-time upside. You’re not going to want to miss this one.
Player Prop Odds: +100
Let’s keep it simple here. TJ Friedl is a contact-first hitter, and he’s knocked a single in 6 straight games against AL opponents.
He’s already batting .308 to open the season and has shown an ability to pick up those infield hits and sharp line drives that inflate his single totals. He’s not trying to put it over the fence, he’s just making enough contact to get on the bags.
He’s facing the Rangers, whose early-season pitching has looked a bit shaky. With the Rangers sending out Nathan Eovaldi, Friedl’s approach could easily generate one clean base knock. Eovaldi, with just one game under his belt this season, isn’t off to the hottest start, but he’s not terrible.
With even money odds on a single, you’re getting a fair price on a very reasonable at-bat.
Player Prop Odds: +110
This is more of a play on context than his talent.
Shane Baz is an electric young arm, no doubt. But this will be his first start of 2025, and he’s just a year removed from Tommy John surgery. In 2024, he averaged less than 5 strikeouts per start, and Tampa Bay is known for keeping pitch counts tight early in the year, especially with their young starters.
He’s facing a Pirates lineup that doesn't strike out as much against RHP as people think — they ranked middle-of-the-pack in K% vs RHP in 2024. Combine that with the pitch count limit and possible early hook, and you’ve got a perfect setup to hit the under at plus money.
Frankly, we’re sure Baz will be covering the over before long, but he’s not going to be there for a few more weeks.
Player Prop Odds: +185
Gurriel has quietly become one of the more clutch hitters on the Diamondbacks and we think he’s only heating up. He’s recorded an RBI in 8 straight games when coming off rest, and that trend sets up again tonight in a good matchup in New York.
He’ll likely bat in the middle of the order, right behind Carroll and Marte — 2 on-base machines each with a .873 OPS so far this year. If even one of them gets on ahead of him, Gurriel has shown the pop and situational hitting to drive in a run.
At nearly 2-to-1 odds, this is great value for a player locked into making some runs happen.
Player Prop Odds: +650
This is strictly a hot-hand, value-based dart throw. Okay, it’s a bit more than that, but you get the idea.
Benintendi has homered in 2 straight games against the Twins, and he’s shown early-season power despite a career more known for dropping singles and gap hits. There’s just something about his bat this year. He’s already got 2 dingers on the year, and his OPS is over 1.000 which is great even given the small sample size.
The Twins are sending out a rotation that’s still settling into form and they haven’t quite found their groove yet. Benintendi matches up well against their soft-tossing right-handers. He’s also playing at home in hitter-friendly conditions at Rate Field, and we know early April wind can push balls just enough to sneak over that right field fence.
You won’t find many guys with recent power production priced at +650 to go deep. We think this is definitely worth a shot with at least one unit.
Tonight's props give a healthy mix of plus-money upside, a few reliable trends, and even some early-season momentum.
Suárez and Benintendi bring the juice if you're chasing long odds, but these could pay well. Friedl and Gurriel offer consistency in contact and run production, both of which feel like solid bets. Baz’s under rounds it out with a smart angle on pitch count management and matchup context given he’s still trying to get back into the swing of things.
As always, keep an eye on confirmed lineups and starting pitchers as the first pitch approaches later tonight. These numbers can shift quickly. But as of now, these 5 props offer some of the best value on the board when it comes to MLB prop bets.
