Wednesday Wiz Day with the MLB: Joe Wiz looks at the reeling Oakland Athletics, as they make a last stand
If you are still betting Major League Baseball, you will know the Oakland Athletics have been awful for the better part of a month.
But so have the New York Yankees and the Boston Red Sox, so the American League Wild Card race is still wide open.
Oakland is 3.5 games back, and has to start winning at some point after going 3-7 in its last 10. Tonight, the A's get Kansas City, which has actually been ok this year. But I have to think the A's are nearing last stand territory, and desperately need this win.
As always, I use PlaySugarHouse.com / BetRivers.com for all of my lines and action.
And remember to tune in to The Feinline (60 minutes of sports betting advice) tonight from 12-1 a.m. and Saturday morning from 8-9 a.m. on 98.7 FM ESPN NY and the app.
