Reds @ Mets, 1:10 pm ET

The Mets have Marcus Stroman on the mound today and they need him to have a big effort. I think he will have just that with 6-7 strikeouts. Lucky for us, you can get +118 for over 5.5 strikeouts from the folks at FanDuel, so I’m taking it.

Mariners @ Rangers, 2:35 pm ET

I’ve written before about how I used to love watching Mike Foltynewicz pitch, but he’s depressing to watch right now. I guess it says more about the state of the Texas Rangers that they keep trotting him out there instead of converting him to a bullpen piece. How bad has it gotten? The other day against the Blue Jays he gave up 10 runs over 1.2 innings and struck out none. Needless to say, when I see the generous line of 4.5 being offered up by BetMGM, I’ll take the under at -120.

Red Sox @ Rays, 7 pm ET

The Red Sox have been in a tailspin, losing 3 in a row and falling out of first place in the AL East. Tonight, they are looking at Nick Pivetta to pull them out of it. I’m not picking the win or loss, but I do think he should get ~7K against the free-swinging Tampa team. Our friends at BetMGM are offering +100 for over 6.5 and that’s where I’m putting my money.
