Two very good teams begin an intriguing series on the West Coast tonight, as the Oakland Athletics head down to San Diego to take on the Padres.

Both teams look like they are in good shape to make the MLB Playoffs, but each might have to settle for a Wild Card.

The pitching matchup is James Kaprielian vs Chris Paddack, and I can see a low scoring game here.
