How tight is the National League West race going to be in September?
Well, if July is any indication, it could be a three-horse race sprint to the finish line.
Everyone is waiting for San Francisco to fall back to Earth, but maybe the Giants can win this thing. Los Angeles is still waiting to see what happens with Trevor Bauer, and the San Diego Padres are still 5.5 back (but could end the season on top).
Today, the Giants have a chance to win another series on the road, where they have been so impressive (28-20 coming into Sunday).
With Johnny Cueto on the hill, look for San Fran to come out strong today.
As always, I use PlaySugarHouse.com / BetRivers.com for all of my lines and action.
