Tuesday MLB Strikeout Prop Picks: Krothers likes Hyun-Jin Ryu, Lucas Giolito, Trevor Bauer

Went 2-1 last night as Freddy Peralta came through with 10 Ks on 6 IP. I have a feeling I won’t get the same +110 on over 7.5 strikeouts the next time he pitches. Tonight we have a few nice matchups.

Yankees @ Blue Jays, 7:07 pm ET

Hyun-Jin Ryu averages a strikeout an inning – so how many innings will he go tonight? Last time against the Yankees in Yankee Stadium he went 5 and predictably struck out 5. I’m guessing this is why the over/under is set at 5.5. The Yankee bats have hit a bit of a slump lately, and given the home advantage, I’m going to say he goes 6 with 6-7 K’s so I’m going to take the over which is currently at -106.

Indians @ White Sox, 8:10 pm ET

If you like strikeouts, you should LOVE this game. Shane Bieber is facing Lucas Giolito and disappointingly I can’t find a total K line, so I’ll make do with the player prop. Giolito has 18 K’s in 10.2 innings pitched, so I’m happy to take the over 8.5 and +130.

Rockies @ Dodgers, 10:20 pm ET

Has Trevor Bauer been a naughty boy with the baseball? Well, he hasn’t been suspended – so that’s good news. He’s back at home facing the same Rockies team he faced his first start, where he struck out 10 in 6.1 in Colorado. Can he do the same or better with home cooked meals in L.A.? I think so. I’m going to take the over 8.5 and -134.
