Tuesday MLB Strikeout Props: Crothers switches to Ks with Gerrit Cole, Wade Miley, and Marcus Stroman

Despite Giancarlo Stanton hitting one as far and hard as I’ve ever seen, I’m not convinced these new balls aren’t made to suppress the home run count this year. So, today we’re going to try something different – strikeouts.

Orioles @ Yankees, 6:35 pm ET

With Gerrit Cole on the mound facing these Orioles, I’ve gotta look at the line and see if it’s worth it. Honestly, it may not be worth it, but I’m going to take the over 8.5 with the -134. Start with some easy money.

Pirates @ Reds, 6:40 pm ET

Cincinnati is sending Wade Miley on the bump tonight and I thought the line here would be interesting because he is not a strikeout pitcher anymore – and it is. I think it’s likely he’ll get 5 against this Pittsburgh lineup and you should be able to find it for +120.

Mets @ Phillies, 7:05 pm ET

I like the Phillies here to keep rolling, but that’s not what strikeout picks are about, are they? Marcus Stroman shouldn’t get more than 5 K’s against this Philadelphia team and you should be able to find -155 for under 5.5.
