MLB: Friday Home Run Prop Bets: Crothers likes Randy Arozarena, Justin Turner, and Wil Myers

Some high scoring games yesterday – but not enough home runs! Maybe the new ball is a drag? We will see – one day of data isn’t enough to figure this out.

Rays @ Marlins, 7:10 pm ET

I like the Rays sluggers to score off Pablo Lopez today – specifically a dinger from Randy Arozarena — who I see is getting +450 in most books.

Dodgers @ Rockies, 8:40 pm ET

Not sure what to expect from Trevor Bauer here (is he still an ace?), so I’m more comfortable in looking at the matchups against Antonio Senzatela. Many bettors are still screaming about Justin Turner’s crazy flub yesterday, so let’s show him some love to see if he can redeem himself today. Turner looks like a +325 at the lines, so let’s go with that.

Diamondbacks @ Padres, 10:10 pm ET

Who doesn’t love what the Padres have done this offseason? In my mind they are the only real competition the Dodgers have this year — but I digress. Merrill Kelly is going to have his hands full with this lineup where everyone has HR power. In this revamped group, Wil Myers should get some pitches to hit, as he did yesterday, and I like him to go deep 2 games in a row tonight.
