MLB Best Bets: Eckel picks HR hitters, White Sox vs Tigers, D-backs vs Rockies, Twins vs Brewers, and Mariners vs Rangers
Now that was a good Tuesday night.
The Yankees/Braves was an easy over. The Cubs handled the Indians and the Rockies held on to beat the Diamondbacks. That’s 3-for-3. And Aaron Judge hit a home run for good measure.
Let’s get back at it Wednesday with some afternoon baseball.
Chicago White Sox at Detroit Tigers, 1:10 pm
Pitchers: Dylan Cease vs. Matthew Boyd
Odds: White Sox -130; Tigers +110
Arizona Diamondbacks at Colorado Rockies, 3:10 pm
Pitchers: Luke Weaver vs. Antonio Senzatela
Odds: Diamondbacks -107; Rockies -113
Minnesota Twins at Milwaukee Brewers, 7:10 pm
Pitchers: Kenta Maeda vs. Eric Lauer
Odds: This -145; Brewers +125
Seattle Mariners at Texas Rangers, 9:10 pm
Pitchers: Taijuan Walker vs. Jordan Lyles
Odds: Mariners +117; Rangers -126
The Cycle
Single: Let’s go back to the red-hot Rockies to win the series from the Diamondbacks behind the ridiculous hitting of Charlie Blackmon and the pitching of Antonio Senzatela, who is looking to move to 4-0 on the season. Luke Weaver has a career 6.57 ERA in two starts at Coors Field.
Double: Matthew Boyd has not been the ace the Tigers thought he was (and it’s amazing the team has the record they have without him). After time things start to even out, the White Sox are better than the Tigers and will win this series Wednesday afternoon.
Triple: Put the Twins and Mariners in a two-team parlay or use one or both of them in parlays with the Rockies and White Sox.
Home Run: Let’s go with Jose Abreu, of the White Sox; and Nolan Arenado of the Rockies to go deep Wednesday afternoon.
