The Mets and Braves kick off the night at 7:10 pm EDT, followed by the Red Sox/Yankees at 7:15, Rays/Orioles at 7:35 and A's/Mariners at 9:10 pm
Aaron Judge’s home run Friday night turned a bad night into not that bad of a night.
Judge’s home run was called here as was the Chicago Cubs win over Pittsburgh. Cincinnati and the over in the Yankees game let us down.
Let’s get back to it with some Saturday picks.
New York Mets at Atlanta Braves, 7:10 p.m.
Pitchers: Michael Wacha vs. Touki Toussant
Odds: Mets even; Braves -120
Boston Red Sox at New York Yankees, 7:15 p.m.
Pitchers: Zach Goldy vs. Masahiro Tanaka
Odds: Red Sox +150; Yanks -170
Tampa Bay Rays at Baltimore Orioles, 7:35 p.m.
Pitchers: Tyler Glasnow vs. Wade LeBlanc
Odds: Rays -220; Orioles +190
Oakland A's at Seattle Mariners, 9:10 p.m.
Pitchers: Mike Fiers vs. Yusei Kikuchi
Odds: As -150; Mariners +130
Single: Momentum isn’t a big deal in baseball. However, the Braves scored five times in the bottom of the ninth to beat the Mets, Friday night. I think that carries over just a little bit. Take the Braves at a decent price.
Double: Tampa Bay should bounce back and beat Baltimore, Saturday. But I’m not going to lay more than 2-1 on the road. What I will do is take the over nine runs.
Triple: The Yanks and As both are heavy favorites, so either parlay them together to make it a decent return, or put them with the Braves or the TB/Balt over.
Home Run: Let’s take a shot on Ronald Acuna for Atlanta and Willie “The Kid’’ Adames for Tampa Bay to go deep Saturday night.
