MLB Bets: After a triple win on Saturday, Eckel has a cycle of picks for Blue Jays vs Rays, Twins vs White Sox, and Rockies vs Rangers
I’m not betting on Arizona again.
I’m not betting on Arizona again.
I’m not betting on Arizona again.
Oh sorry was just reminding myself not to bet on the Arizona Diamondbacks today, or any other day.
For the second straight night a bet on the D’Backs kept a good night from being a great night.
This space did provide three winners (out of four games) Saturday — Tampa Bay, Atlanta and St. Louis — and also correctly predicted another home run hitter in George Springer.
Let’s try again Sunday.
Toronto at Tampa Bay, 1:10 pm EDT
Pitchers: Thomas Hatch vs. Blake Snell
Odds: Toronto (+170); Tampa Bay (-200)
Minnesota Twins at Chicago White Sox, 2:10 pm EDT
Pitchers: Reynaldo Lopez vs. Kenta Maeda
Odds: Minnesota (-145); Chicago (+125)
Over/Under :10
Colorado at Texas, 2:35 pm EDT
Pitchers: Kyle Freeland vs. Corey Kluber
Odds: Colorado (+125); Texas (-145)
The Cycle
Single: I like Texas, with Kluber on the mound, to beat the Rockies who have never been a good road team (14-37 in their last 51 away from Colorado).
Double: Take the Rangers and parlay them with the Rays, whose odds are too short to just bet outright. Tampa Bay is one team who isn’t affected by no fans in the stands. They never had any. The Rays are also 20-6 in their las 26 at home and 12-4 in last 16 against AL East.
Triple: I’m not sure who’s going to win that AL Central battle between the Twins and White Sox (I’m leaning Twins), but I think there will be a lot of runs scored. Take the over 10.
Home Run: George Springer, Houston; Max Muncy, Los Angeles to go yard Sunday.
