Bet CPBL Friday Baseball: Rakuten goes against the Uni-Lions while Chinatrust plays at Fubon

After Rakuten went up 4-1 in the first inning Thursday morning, my over bet was looking decent, but the game was "abandoned" after three innings due to bad weather. I remained at 8-6, Rakuten 6-0 and Chinatrust 2-5.

Friday morning at 6:35 am EDT, the Chinatrust Brothers are at the Fubon Guardians and the Rakuten Monkeys are at the Uni-Lions.

Moneyline: Fubon +160, Chinatrust -215

Run line: Fubon +1.5 +102, Chinatrust -1.5 -132

Total runs: Over 10.5 -115, Under 10.5 -114

Pick: At +160, the oddsmakers are trying to steer some action toward the Guardians with Brothers ace Ariel Miranda on the hill for Chinatrust. Since Miranda has been tough and the Brothers have not yet shown to be an offensive powerhouse, the bet is under 10.5 runs.

Moneyline: Rakuten -235, Uni +175

Run line: Rakuten -1.5 -137, Uni +1.5 +106

Total runs: Over 9.5 -117, Under 9.5 -113

Pick: The moneyline is a no-go due to the odds, but the run line and total runs look appealing. Rakuten should get their lumber back tonight so I'm happy to give 1.5 runs and thrilled to take the over at 9.5.
