Bet CPBL Baseball Sunday: High-scoring Rakuten Monkeys host favored Fubon Guardians; Uni-Lions seek a win at Chinatrust Brothers

I won both picks Saturday morning and raised my record to 7-2.

The Rakuten Monkeys went to 4-0, beating the 2-2 Fubon Guardians 12-9 (and again crushing the 11.5 over, which may soon be over 15). That's 47 runs for the Monkeys in their first four games. The Chinatrust Brothers won their second game 6-2 over the Uni-Lions and easily covered the 1.5 runs they were giving. The Brothers are now 2-3. Uni fell to 1-4.

Sunday morning at 5:05 am EDT, the same teams square off again:

Moneyline: Fubon -205, Rakuten +155

Run line: Fubon -1.5 -130, Rakuten +1.5 +100

Total runs: Over 11.5 -127, Under 11.5 -103

Pick: After two high-scoring Fubon losses the oddsmakers are really getting behind them today. The Guardians may come out on top but I'll believe they can stop Rakuten from scoring . . . When they stop Rakuten from scoring. I'm riding the Over.

Moneyline: Uni +185, Chinatrust -240

Run line: Uni +1.5 -105, Chinatrust -1.5 -125

Total runs: Over 8.5 -141, Under 8.5 +108

Pick: The Brothers are big favorites so they should win by 2 runs and I'd rather get -125 than -240. Like yesterday, since there's not much value in the moneyline, let's give the 1.5 runs.
