Bet baseball! In the CPBL, Chinatrust Brothers look to find their bats against the Fubon Guardians - with an odds boost

After losing 4-1 in extra innings Sunday at the Uni Lions, the Chinatrust Brothers have their home opener against the Fubon Guardians.

The Brothers were a -132 favorite against the Lions and couldn't score and are -132 against the Guardians, whose first game was rained out. The Guardians are a +112 underdog in this one after opening against the Rakuten Monkeys at +140.

So the oddsmakers don't have much faith in Fubon but think they have a better chance against Chinatrust than they would have had against Rakuten.

The total runs line -9.5 looks like a good play: Fubon will be starting its opening day picture and Chinatrust couldn't hit on Sunday. And since Chinatrust is still a decent sized favorite to win (and giving 1.5 runs in the run line), I will surmise that Fubon isn't expected to pound their No. 2 starter. But if you want a solid odds boost from Parx to +330, then bet the over.
