Turns out, the Dodgers are really good at home, even when playing against quality teams. They are 25-6 in their last 31 home games vs. teams with winning records. Seems like they’ll tack another one onto the front end of that record today with Hyun-Jin Ruy on the hill. The Dodgers are 6-0 in Ryu’s last six home starts vs. winning teams, 10-2 in Ryu’s last 12 starts after allowing two runs or less in their previous game and 7-1 in his last eight starts overall. Oh yeah, and he leads the MLB with a 1.26 ERA. . . . Is anything going right for the Phillies right now? No, not really. And with Vince Velazquez on the mound, not seeing how things change today. The only thing in their favor is that the sun is shining and they are 5-1 in their last six Saturday games. . . . Zach Wheeler likes pitching on Saturday. Hey, today is a Saturday! The Mets are 4-1 in Wheeler’s last five Saturday starts and 4-1 in Wheeler’s last five starts when their opponent allows five runs or more in their previous game. . . .
