MLB Saturday: Albert’s Quick Pitches – Rockies v Diamondbacks, Mets v Brewers, Pirates v Athletics, Mariners v Indians

Favorite Pick of the Day: Rockies (-128) over Diamondbacks

Fade of the Day: Mets (+100) over Brewers

Pick’em of the Day: Pirates (-104) over Athletics

Are you sure? Pick of the Day: Mariners (+170) over Indians

The Skinny:
Any time Kyle Freeman pitches at Coors Field is my favorite pick of the day and today is no different. The Rockies are 14-2 in Freelands last 16 home starts. . . . I’m fading Gio Gonzalez today for no other reason than him losing to the Mets in his only other outing of the season. That and the fact that the Mets are 8-1 in Zack Wheeler’s last nine starts following a team loss in their previous game. . . . On the surface, this one looks like it would swing Oakland’s way, they are 6-1 in the last seven meetings in Pittsburgh, but there are some interesting nuggets digging a little deeper. The Athletics are 1-4 in the last five meetings overall and the Pirates are 4-0 in their last four Saturday games with Gabe Morales behind home plate. . . .  With how good the Mariners have played this year, getting them at +170 against anyone seems like a steal. Plus, the Mariners are 12-2 in Mike Leake’s last 14 starts following a team loss in their previous game
