Despite being 1-7 in his last eight road starts, the Cubs are 4-1 in Quintana’s last five starts during Game 2 of a series. Take all of this how you will. . . . The trends for the Pittsburgh v Detroit matchup mostly point to the UNDER, other than all of the head-to-head trends, which actually paint a better picture. OVER is 9-1 in the last 10 meetings in Detroit between the two teams, and OVER is 14-3 in the last 17 overall. . . . What a disappointing start for both the Yankees and the Red Sox, both of whom won at least 100 games last year. Their first matchup of the season is a pick’em, but the trends favor the road team.
