Pretty simple thinking here: fade the Marlins when you can. The Rockies have a lot to prove this year and they won’t do that with any opening weekend slip-ups in the 305. Colorado is 5-1 in their last six when their opponent allows five runs or more in their previous game. Dating back to last year, Over is 6-1-1 in German Marquez’s last eight Friday starts. Sure seems like a game to watch. The Athletics are 1-5 in their last six games following a win, which they did yesterday. The bats of the Red Sox can’t be held in check this long (yes, I know it’s only Day 2). Again, grain of salt, it’s Day 2.
