God's Tipster's Thursday Aqueduct Pick: The 8th is a mile for New York-bred maidens, one with experience edge

Good morning racing fans! We’re back for an exciting week of racing action. We’re halfway through our final month of the service and we’ll get rolling with races from Aqueduct. Let’s get right to work with fast and firm conditions expected.

Aqueduct:

Race 8: Refuah - 2 pts win (US Morning Like Odds: 5/1)

Maidens bred in New York race a mile on the main track. Refuah has raced nineteen times and finished second in eleven of those nineteen starts. Once by disqualification after winning. Not only has no other runner in this field ever hit the board at today’s distance but the top speed figure at the distance outside of Refuah is 46. Refuah’s top speed figure is 77. His record at Aqueduct is also remarkable for a maiden as well – 8 starts with 6 second place finishes and a pair of third place finishes. Anything close to 5/1 on this guy is solid value.
