God's Tipster's Sunday Aqueduct Pick: The 9th, weather permitting, is for New York maiden claimers

Saturday’s Race Recap from Aqueduct:

Aqueduct:

Race 1: 3rd@ 6.40/1

Race 7: 2nd@ 1.80/1

Race 8: 4th@ 3.60/1

Race 9: 1st@ 2.75/1 🔥🔥- BEST BET

In Race 1, Light the Way pressed the pace and faded. In Race 7, Awesome Native raced wide while last early and came with a furious rally to miss by a diminishing neck. In Race 8, You Look Cold was last early and never caught up due in large part to the late scratches of two speedballs that were meant to press the pace. In Race 9, we got our BEST BET home at overlaid odds of nearly 3/1! 🔥🔥🔥

We’ll close out the week with some Sunday races at Aqueduct. A rainy, miserable day is ahead in Ozone Park. There’s also a lot of wind in the forecast so there’s the possibility the races get cancelled if the conditions warrant it. We’ll press on though and hope we can get the races in before the worst of it starts.

Aqueduct:

Race 9: Waflr - 1 pt win (US Morning Line Odds: 12/1)

Maiden claimers bred in New York close out our week and I’m looking to drop the curtain on the show with Waflr at 12/1 odds. This field isn’t very good at all and Waflr’s done most of his running on turf. Last time out he showed more speed than he had in the past and if he can take another move forward he can take these at more than fair odds.
