God's Tipster's Thursday Aqueduct Pick: The 9th is a sprint for maiden claimers with a Laurel shipper

We’re back to close out November with a Thursday race card from Aqueduct. Fast and chilly conditions are expected. Let’s get started!

Aqueduct:

Race 9: Shadow Man - 1 pt win (US Morning Line Odds: 9/2)

Basement level maiden claimers race 6½ furlongs. I’m looking for a new face in the group as the quality of the runners with experience on the circuit is lacking. Shadow Man ships in from Laurel with two turf races under his belt for a 40% trainer. He also gets a big distance cut back which should help. His running lines don’t look like much, but he was actually closing well late in his most recent start. I have a feeling he’ll be lower than his 9/2 morning line by post time.
